Jeremey Miller is the General Manager at our Paradise Valley location. Though he’s originally from York, Pennsylvania, Jeremey made the journey to the west coast to attend college at ASU before launching into his career in the restaurant industry. Beginning as a server, Jeremey has worked on-and-off in restaurants over the past 20 years while transitioning into management.
For the last 10 years, Jeremey has dedicated his passion and talent to Z’Tejas and was promoted to General Manager in April 2016. When he isn’t spending quality time with his son, Jordan, Jeremey can be found at the restaurant working hard to make the guest experience even more welcoming and memorable. He loves to take a break from day-to-day operations to establish relationships with customers, so feel free to talk to Jeremey the next time you visit our Paradise Valley location.
Originally from Tabasco, Mexico, Rene moved here when he was 21 years old to pursue his dreams. He started working in a local grocery store and working in famous kitchens all over the Phoenix area. Over the years he has fine-tuned his craft with a quiet artistry. His staff appreciates his attention to detail and his friendly soft, spoke demeanor. When not at the restaurant you can find him spending time with his wife and two children. Come in and let Rene craft something for you!!
Aron Betts is the Hospitality Manager at our Paradise valley location in Phoenix, though he was born in the high country of Casper, Wyoming. Aron spent his childhood growing up in an area north of Seattle and when the time came to start college Aron chose to attend Washington State University. He graduated with a degree in Hospitality Business Management and thus began his career with Z’Tejas.
After graduation, Aron decided to move down to sunny Phoenix, where he joined our team and has lived for the past 10 years. Aron is a lifelong sports fan, so when he is not managing the restaurant, you can bet that he’s cheering on his favorite team.
It was here in Arizona that Michael Anderson started working in the restaurant industry as a to-go server. He quickly fell in love with the restaurant environment and kept returning to it throughout his life. After completing high school, Michael put his career on hold and enlisted in the United States Marines Corps. Once he completed his 4 years of service, Michael decided to spend a year traveling around the nation and world.
While exploring, Michael rediscovered his passion for the restaurant industry. He’s worked and loved every position, from serving to bartending, though his current job as a Bar Manager is his favorite. Michael is passionate about foods and drinks and hopes to manage his own restaurant in the future. Outside of work, Michael explores valley restaurants and is a die-hard Arizona Diamondbacks fan.
